Oriental Grilled Chicken Breasts
Marinade:
1/2 tsp chopped fresh ginger
1 tsp chopped garlic in oil
1/3 c Memories of Shanghai sauce
3 tbsp Memories of Hong Kong sauce
1/2 c beer
1 tbsp corn oil
1 tsp sugar
2 tbsp sherry
8 pces chicken breasts
salt and pepper to taste.
In medium bowl mix together ginger, garlic, Shanghai and Hong Kong sauces, beer, oil sugar and sherry.
Whisk together with a few swift strokes and season with salt and pepper.
Reserve 1/4 c of this marinade.
Add chicken breasts to the marinade and coat well.
Cover and allow to marinate 4-6 hours in the refrigerator.
On a well greased grill, ove rmedium high heat, grill chicken for 5 to 6 minutes per side until done, basting frequently with the reserved marinade. This dish is great with rice or potatoes and fresh green side salad. Here are some tasty recipes you might like to try.
