Camping families in the Tri-Lakes chapter of the Historical Automobile Society of Canada held their first annual campout in June of 2005 at
Jefferson Junction, a campground near Melbourne, Ontario.

The campout was hosted by Fred and Liz Elliott of Tri-Lakes and attended by a number of members who own antique automobiles and RVs. There was a good mix of Rvs from tents and truck campers up to motorhomes. Everyone also brought their antique automobiles as well.
Two daily tours were held in the antique cars to attractions of interest
to antique car buffs and events in a close proximity to the campground,
followed by evening campfires. The weekend was thoroughly enjoyed by all those who attended.

The Elliotts plan to hold another event in early summer of 2006 at the
same location with side tours to other antique car interest points. Further information can be obtained on either HASC, the antique car association, or the campout by contacting Fred Elliott in London at 519.451.6889.
